For more than two decades, Little India of Denver has been a staple restaurant for Indian food lovers in Denver, Colorado. With two locations to choose from, one on East 6th Avenue and one on South Downing Street, both visitors and residents of Denver have easy access to a wide variety of delicious Indian dishes. The restaurant is proud to open a new location on West 32nd Ave so it can provide traditional Indian food to even more people.
Reasons To Visit Our New Location
The COVID-19 pandemic took a toll on dining establishments worldwide, and Little India of Denver was no exception. When the owner of Little India, Simeran Baidwan, was forced to close the dining rooms at his two original locations, he was able to keep the lights on in the restaurant by providing takeout and delivery service. People in Denver could still enjoy the sumptuous food made by the staff at Little India, but the servers who worked in the dining rooms were out of jobs. Instead of laying people off, Simeran Baidwan decided to take care of the Little India family while still adhering to COVID-19 restrictions.
Instead of closing like many other restaurants were forced to do, Baidwan decided to take a leap of faith by opening a third location on West 32nd Ave during the pandemic. He retrained his dining room servers to work for the delivery and takeout service provided by the restaurant, so he didn’t have to make any furloughs and was able to provide traditional Indian food to more people in Denver. The new location opened on January 4 for takeout and delivery.
While business is not yet completely back to normal, Baidwan is optimistic about the future. All three Little India of Denver locations recently opened for in-person dining, and although they still have to follow special protocols to slow the spread of COVID-19, each restaurant is back to providing a wide range of delicious dishes and several ways to enjoy them. By visiting our new location, not only are you supporting the business, but you are also helping our owner take care of the staff members he considers family while enjoying traditional Indian food.

Although some COVID-19 restrictions have lifted and we are now able to open our dining rooms again, we know that now everyone is comfortable eating out yet. We still offer delivery and takeout options for people who aren’t ready to eat in a restaurant and for those who just don’t have time in their busy schedules to sit down for a long dinner. You can call an order in for your whole family so you can pick it up on your way home from work or get some of our delicious soups delivered to soothe sick kids. If you’re feeling adventurous, venture into our newly renovated third location and enjoy delicious food in a traditional Indian atmosphere.
